8:15AM We will pick you up at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter around 8am. You will start to visit Tran Quoc pagoda on the West Lake, it's the oldest pagoda in Vietnam. Then you continue visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One-Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Your next destination will be Temple of Literature, the most famous temple situated in Hanoi, also functioned as Vietnam's first university.
12:30: You have lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi. You will stop in Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple before moving to Bat Trang Ceramic village. It's a famous village with more than 700 years of history beside the Red river. You will learn about the process of making pottery and glazing, then you will make ceramic products yourself, or paint statues…Visit the Gom village market.
At the end of the program, the car and guide will take you back to your hotel or finish at the water puppet show (optional)
