DAY 1: HANOI - SAPA (L/D)

Explore Cat Cat Village, Sa Pa town

6:30AM: Pick up from your hotel and depart for Sapa. We will reach Sapa around 12.30 noon, check-in hotel, relax & have lunch.
Afternoon: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. You will explore the daily life activities of the locals here, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.

DAY 2: SAPA - LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE AND FANSIFAN (B/L/D)

Visit Lao Chai - Ta Van village and Explore the peak of Fansipan

Morning: After having breakfast, we will drive you to Y Linh Ho village, from here you will trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa valley to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Continue heading to Ta Van village - home of Dzay ethnic people. Then, back to Sapa town for the lunch time.

Afternoon: Driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. ( Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

DAY 3: SA PA - TAM DUONG - LAI CHAU - PHONG THO (B/L/D)

Morning: After having breakfast, you will depart for Lai Chau. The drive from Sapa to Phong Tho (Paso) is on one of the most beautiful mountainous stretch on road in the whole Vietnam with magnificent scenery. You will visit a small market and some surrounding villages. After that you along Binh Lu valley and you will arrive in Lai Chau town at lunch time.

Afternoon: The road weaves its way through the picturesque valley, You will past many small villages of Red and White H'mong, Kho Mu and White Thai ethnic minorities. You eventually reach Phong Tho town in the late afternoon, check-in hotel, dinner & overnight here.

DAY 4: PHONG THO - SIN HO - MUONG LAY - DIEN BIEN PHU (B/L/D)

Leave Lai Chau for Dien Bien Phu, enjoy spectacular roads through mountains, visit minorities, discover the history of Dien Bien Phu

Today's run is also on spectacular roads through the mountains. After having breakfast, you will leave Phong Tho for Sin Ho. Sin Ho is home to many different minorities people such as the Nung, White Thai, Black Dao, and Dao Tien, who will gather in the town's market every Sunday for purchasing and socializing. Continue driving downhill from Sin Ho to Muong Lay, you can enjoy the most beautiful road of Northwest. From Muong Lay it will take you around 2 hours to Dien Bien Phu. You will visit the historical sites such as De Castries's bunker, the Dien Bien Phu museum, the A1 hill and so on.

DAY 5: DIEN BIEN PHU - TUAN GIAO - SON LA (B/L/D)

Morning: You will depart Dien Bien Phu for Tuan Giao, where you will get on board for a cruise on Pa Khoang Lake. There will be possibilities for visiting one or more villages of the Kho Mu or the Thai minorities. You will then have a transfer back to Dien Bien Phu for lunch.

Afternoon: Keep heading to Son La, visiting Son La prison
